Law Of A Attraction Success Story

So, I’m not here to tell you that I manifested $100,000 dollars or something. In fact, this was a small, yet powerful manifestation. Powerful because I FELT powerful for making it happen while on my journey to become the best at manifesting.

As I mentioned in a recent post, I’m currently in between jobs and was able to manifest over 200 dollars while practicing what I have been learning about the law of attraction.

The most important thing is you have to get to a positive place! No matter how long it takes you, just work on getting there because you’re worth it. Start by doing more things that make you happy. Having a rough day? Go to Starbucks and sit down with one of your favorite teas or coffees. Take a trip to the beach and sit down by the ocean and enjoy the sounds of the waves. Or better yet, take your Starbucks to the beach and sit down and enjoy. LOL.

Anyway, the point is, if your vibrations are in a good place, there’s a better chance that when you make a request from the universe, you’ll just KNOW that what you’ve asked for is on the way to you. You won’t have any doubts. This is key to getting the prize.

The best tip I’ve learned for those who are new to the law of attraction is to start small with your manifesting. Try manifesting a coffee from a friend or even a penny from the ground. When you successfully manifest even the smallest of things, it starts to put your head in an even better place every time. You’ll say to yourself “yeah, bitch, I manifested a coffee…what else can I manifest?” LOL. You’ll start to feel more confident and before you know it, that car you asked the universe for will be yours.

About the small thing I manifested today, as you may know, I have a shop on Etsy where I sell my hair accessories and other random items I make. A few days ago, I looked at my latest Etsy bill which is only $14.88 that I owe for the month of January. I have enough cash on me to cover it but it’s cash I’d rather just keep in my wallet for now. There is only $4.00 in my bank account at the moment.

That’s when I decided to call upon our friend, the universe ;-). I so casually said, “I’m not worried about that, it’ll be paid. There will be enough money to cover it. It’ll come.”

That’s all I said and didn’t give it another thought. You have to act just like a millionaire would, with their, “put it on my tab” kind of attitude.

The universe delivered today! Someone just so happened to purchase an item from my Etsy shop that cost enough to cover the bill with 39 cents to spare. Boom. Mission accomplished. Thank you, universe! I’m starting to get good at this. Haha.

Anyway, I hope this story of how I manifested the small amount needed for my Etsy shop bill has inspired you in some way. Manifesting something small can definitely make you feel powerful enough to go big some day. Try it sometime.

Until next time…

Flower Headband Tutorial

I’m going to have you looking like this girl from The Simpsons in no time, don’t you worry.

I’ve been thinking about making a flower headband for a few days now while staring at the fake flowers I bought from the Dollar Tree recently and I thought, “why not show the beautiful people of the world how to make one?” So let’s get started!

Here’s what you’ll need:

*A headband of your choice. I like using metal headbands just because they are sturdy, yet bendy if you need to adjust them. I get mine from Amazon.

*Tulle, ribbon, and of course a flower to glue onto your headband….and anything else you think you may want to add.

*Your strongest glue. I’ll be using a hot glue gun for this.

Let’s get started!

Step One: Let’s begin by wrapping the headband in tulle. You don’t have to of course. Wrapping your headband in ribbon or anything else you think would be cute. Today, I’m doing tulle followed by ribbon and you may want to copy me after you see (or not). Put a dab of glue at the bottom of your headband and begin. Placing dabs of glue every few inches along the way…

IMG_20180205_195752 (1)

Step Two: Take a piece of ribbon and we’ll be giving the headband a “candy cane” look by wrapping the ribbon around the headband just like we did the tulle…only spaced out like so…

And we’re done with the first part…

Step Three: This is an option step but it looks super cute if you take some ribbon and make a bow that will go underneath the flower on the headband. Simply tie a bow like you would your shoe laces, make sure it’s nice and neat after it’s tied and fray proof the edges of the ribbon with a lighter.

Step Four: Now it’s time to build onto the headband you wrapped. Pick a spot that you think looks cute and let’s start. Glue down your cute bow first. Grab your flower next and glue it on top of the bow.

Step Five: From here you can decide what else you may want to add to it. I decided to add some cute, tiny flowers that sprout from the middle of my larger flower. I topped those off with another white lace ribbon bow and topped that off with a tiny black bow with a pearl in the middle. There is no wrong way to do this. Here is my final product…

Yaaassss, honey! Isn’t it cute? I can’t wait to make some more! My final and optional step would be to clue a fake leaf on the bottom like this to make sure your flower isn’t going any where….

Thank you all for stopping by! Until next time…byeee…

You Smile!!! How Bou Dat?!?!

So, you’re like me and your face in its natural state looks like you hate the world? Yeah, I know the feeling. Us resting bitch face folks need to stick together! We need to remind people to stop projecting their own issues with their emotions and face onto us, dammit!

For fun, I wrote a few come-backs for us to use when people try to tell us what to do with our faces. Please email me your own or even some you have found online and I’ll add them to the list any time ( or just write them in the comments section, that works as well.

Okay, let’s get to it!

Person: “You should smile…” You: “My dog died. You’re such a jerk!”

Person: “You should smile…” You: *smile at them in a creepy manner and start twitching*

Person:  “You should smile…” You: “You don’t know my LIFE!!!”

Person: “You should smile…” You: “Take off that scary mask and maybe I will.”

Person: “You should smile…” You: “You first, mother trucker!” *have fun watching their face when you say, “trucker”

Person: “You should smile…” You: “I can do better than smile…” *start singing and dancing for them and make sure the song is about the fact they told you to smile*

Person: “You should smile…” You: “You’re right, your funny face is definitely something to smile about.”

Person: “You should smile…” You: “Whatever you say, face police! Just promise you won’t write me a ticket.”

Person: “You should smile…” You: “Okay, but can we take a selfie together and be besties? “ *while getting closer to them and making them feel uncomfortable*

Person: “You should smile…” You: “What’s a smile? Can you explain? Can you demonstrate?”

This was all for fun of course (maybe) but I wanted to write a little something on the subject because I know it’s something that lots of people go through in life. Men go through it too, even if not as often as us ladies. There are also female smile police out there to be fair (trust me, I know).

To anyone who feels the need to police people’s faces? Please. Just stop. Worry about yourself. You don’t know what people are going through in life. You also need to understand that people aren’t walking Disney character masks. THEY ARE REAL PEOPLE. Going through real shit. Trying to survive in this very real world. Just stop.

Many of us have resting bitch face. Yes, it’s true. I’m the queen of thinking I was smiling in a picture when I wasn’t…

….just because we are in the zone with whatever it is we are doing doesn’t always mean we’re not happy. How about this? Work on improving your own inner being. Become a better person so that the creepy, wannabe face cop vibes can be replaced with much better vibes that actually make us want to smile at you without even having to ask us. Sound good? Okay, great.

I’m just going to end this with this amazing video. Love you all! Bye!

I Love #TheDeadFiles!

I’ll tell you what, it’s a good thing I logged into Twitter today because I didn’t know that season 8 of The Dead Files was airing tonight! Yayyyy!

The Dead Files has been going hard since 2011 and I’ve been hooked since day one. The show is now in it’s 10th season. It is officially my top favorite paranormal show until something else tops it (I doubt that will ever happen). I’m not just saying this because Amy Allan LITERALLY clicked the link to my Etsy shop where I sell my handmade hair bows and stuff and complimented by work back in 2012 either…

By the way, I thanked her in a separate tweet (so you don’t think I’m an asshole who can’t say, “thank you”. LOL). I was still pretty new to Twitter at that time.

If you’re into the paranormal and you especially love the ghost section of it (I know I do), I highly recommend this show to you (currently airing Saturday nights at 10 on the Travel Channel. Check your local listings to be sure.) if you haven’t seen it.

So, here’s how the show works: you have a family experiencing scary things in their home on a daily basis that are spirit and/or demon related. Things that are effecting family members behavior, health, etc. to the point where they have to call Amy Allan and Steve DiSchiavi for help.

The way the investigation on this show is done is quite unique because you have two different investigations being done for the location at different times. Let’s also throw in the fact that you have Amy’s husband, Matthew Anderson (I didn’t realize he was her husband until a few years in), a skeptic, filming her as she does her walk through of the location. Him being a skeptic is great because he always asks Amy (the medium) the good questions throughout her walk. Check out this video I found on YouTube of him talking about it a few years back…

So, Matt will go into the house before Amy does to cover up anything and everything that would give her information about the family that lives there so that she is not influenced in any way.  Amy will then enter the home with Matt filming her, discuss what she is seeing as she does her walk and when she has completed the walk, she’ll then go to a sketch artist to have one or two drawings done of her findings. These sketches can be of the spirits of the people she’s come into contact with in the home or other strange creatures like these…

Dead Files SE6 EP5_zps4v2rc5xwd48efb7104b9c773e1206bb67fdc576c

Steve, a retired homicide detective with the N.Y.P.D, will go and do his own separate investigation. He’ll go the local library, speak to town historians, etc. and find out everything he possibly can about the clients home and the land it sits on. Who may have died there? Was there ever another house on the land before the current one? How many families have lived there? He gets all the information and the show ends with Amy and Steve sitting down with the clients in their home together to reveal their findings.

Amy will usually discuss her walk first, Steve will open the envelope with the creepy sketches in it, show them to the clients and then reveal his own findings that end up matching up with everything Amy found out just by walking through the home and interacting with the dead. He’ll even show a picture of someone who used to live there and the person will look like the spirit person she got sketched! Crazy shit, guys!

What I also take away from this show is all of the things you can learn about the spirit world that you may have never known about before. For example, did you know that LIVING PEOPLE like you and I can leave residual spirits behind too?? Did you know that LIVING PEOPLE can create poltergeist activity (P.K. manifestation, I still got it!)? These are things you learn about while watching the show.

Also, if you are experiencing paranormal activity in your home and you’re dealing with some of the things the families on the show are dealing with, stick around until the reveal at the end and pay close attention to Amy’s advice to the family of what they can do to rid their home of the spirits causing them harm. You just may be able to pick up a few tips from her and if not….you can always contact the show for help?? Haha.

A big thanks to Amy, Steve and Matt! Great show! I love it….and the Travel Channel for airing it.

That’s everything I have to say. Oh, one more thing…

Amy! That dress! That hair! Loooooove it! So stunning! Okay, I’m done.  LOL.  Bye, everyone!

EDIT: I just found out that Amy and Matt have not been together for years so that is my mistake! (Sorry, Amy and Matt! Haha).  On the plus side, at least I wasn’t nosy and dug into their personal lives? Clearly. Haha.

I’m #TeamTeddi On Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills

First of all, let me just say that I have loved the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills since it first aired back in 2010. Eight years just flew by, let me tell you!

Quickly frankly, I enjoy the housewives from all of the cities across the USA that have aired on Bravo. When people say, “Ugh, that city was a dud…” I never feel that way, personally. They’re ALL entertaining to me, as I enjoy watching drama that’s not my own (I even enjoyed the cancelled ones like Potomac and Miami). When ever an episode is on, no matter the city, I’m all eyes and ears, baby. Plus, there’s something very fun about watching how the rich live and behave.

The Beverly Hills housewives have a special place in my heart because they’re fellow Californians (Orange County housewives are too but I’m more drawn to the Beverly Hills housewives) and three of my favorite housewives of all time are among them.

Just in case you’re wondering, my top favorite housewives of all time are (in no particular order): Lisa Vanerpump, Lisa Rinna, Kyle, Erika, Kandi, Kim, Cynthia, Sheree and NeNe.

Getting onto what I wanted to rant about this evening….

I thought it was good of Dorit to apologize to Camille for jokingly calling her a, “stupid cunt.” In fact, based on her not giving a proper apology to Teddi, I was shocked by it. I’ll even rewind it back further and say she owes Rinna an apology as well. Rinna did a bad thing and owned it and I feel like Dorit needs to own up to the fact that she planted some seeds about Rinna possibly having a drug problem. It was something that hurt Rinna and she gave zero fucks about it. Yes, Rinna has put those lips to work and hurt people in the past but guess what? She always owns up to it and that’s why I have her listed as one of my favorites. I give props to anyone who can do what she does because let’s be real, a lot of us have trouble owning up to our mistakes.

Back to the Teddi situation, yes, Dorit should have been more understanding. Yes, she told Teddi, “I’m sorry” a thousand times on the phone but then behind her back is talking about how Teddi is exaggerating the time between the time they were supposed to meet and the time Teddi left after waiting??? Come on now!

Dorit, since you obviously had trouble giving Teddi a proper apology, let me help you out by giving you a script you could have used…

“Teddi, I just want to tell you face to face that I am truly sorry for being late that day. I told you over the phone that I thought I we were supposed to meet at 4:30 and not 4 like you thought but that doesn’t even matter. The point was, I was late and I apologize. I hope we can continue to be friends and it won’t happen again.”

…see how easy that is?…and don’t even get me started on her snobby attitude about wine glasses, champagne glasses and which drink goes in which. There’s nothing wrong with being particular about which drink goes in which glass, for the record. In someone else’s home though? That’s when it becomes officially rude. Some people just don’t care about those things and you have to respect them in their home by keeping quiet about it. Then, in the last episode that aired, Dorit ends up calling Teddi the, “psycho” in the matter?? Oy,  Dorit, we have some work to do, my love ;-).

My Dorit ranting aside, I don’t think she’s a bad person. She actually seems like a person that’s a lot of fun to be around and I find her and her husband’s relationship to be quite adorable. I’m glad she and Erika are in a good place these days after the whole “Panty-Gate” situation last season.

I adore Kyle, Lisa Vanderpump and their friendship and they constantly crack me up during their confessionals (Kyle bouncing up and down in her seat with the “turbulence is fun!” bit had me rollin’).

And last but certainly not least, miss Erika Jane. She is beautiful, talented, inspiring, has her own style, gives zero shits about what people think of her and has a maturity about her that many people these days could learn from.

This concludes everything I wanted to say about the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills tonight. Thanks for reading!

Infuse Your Water With High Vibrations

The year was 1996. I was about 12 years old and during that year, I watched a good ol’ movie called, “The Baby-Sitters Club” probably about 2 dozen times (I watched a clip of it on YouTube just now and cringed. LOL) on VHS in the comfort of my childhood bedroom.

I didn’t know it then but it was from this movie that I first learned just how powerful words can be. I learned from this movie that words can be so powerful that they can even help (or not help) a tomato plant to grow (during the movie, a mom was in awe of how “huge” the tomatoes had grown after her little daughter sang “show tunes” to them instead of her usual “torch” songs).

There was an experiment done by a man named Dr. Masaru Emoto who proved just how powerful words can be towards not tomatoes, but white rice. Watch this quick clip…

….and just in case you don’t want to watch, I’ll explain: He took three glasses, filled them with uncooked white rice and poured water over them. Every day for a month, the three glasses were treated differently: he’d lovingly say, “thank you!” to cup number one, he’d completely ignore the second cup and to cup number three, he was a jerk to and called it an, “idiot!”

After the month was up, cup number one’s rice was still nice and white. Ignored cup number two’s rice was beginning to rot. Finally, cup number three’s rice went completely black after being called an idiot wayyy too many times ;-).

I really appreciate Dr. Emoto’s rice experiment. Definitely try this experiment at home yourselves and see how it turns out (I don’t think I could do it…knowing me, I’d probably cry while feeling bad for how I treated the third glass of rice LOL). My guess is you will find out what we all know to be true already: words, good or bad, truly do have an effect on us and everything around us.

Getting to what I really wanted to share on this post today (see title), I wanted to mention another cool way to help you manifest all of the things that you want. What is it? Water. That’s right. Water. You can use your powerful mind to make some powerful water to drink so that you can soon become all of the magical goodness you infused into your water.

Water is already high vibrational on it’s own because it’s good for us (so yes, eating better also helps you manifest.  Hey, I don’t make up the rules, I get this stuff off of YouTube). So why not practice taking it up a notch like this adorable person did for their adorable pet?…

See? They put that note on the bowl with love and so now the universe must obey. You can do this for yourself too of course (I just thought the pet water bowl picture was cute).

Stick Post It notes that say, “I have lots of money!” or “I’m thin and healthy!” or whatever you please on your glass or  even on the table and let your glass sit on top of it for as long as you want before drinking it, leave it over night….it’s whatever you in your heart knows will get the job done. You just have to feel great while doing it, no matter how silly it may seem. Keep your attitude right and when the time is right, the universe will work things out for you so your dreams come true.

You don’t even have to put a Post It note any where near the glass of water if you don’t want to. You can just put your hands close to the glass like this and say the words like you mean it (this is what I like to do)!…

…and then drink up!

This post was inspired by a guy named Gavin on YouTube who has a channel called, “Wake Up Fulfilled.” He is how I found out about the water manifesting technique as well as the rice experiment by Dr. Emoto. He talks about all of that in this video from a few years back…and he has a British accent so enjoy…

Until next time, folks…

Let’s Turn Dessert Toppings Into Art!

I’m sure we’ve all seen those cute, decorative glass jars and bottles that can be found in kitchens and restaurants that look like this….

Well, it’s time to switch things up!!!

Here’s what you’ll need:

*Glass jar or bottle of any size.

*Enough sweet goodness to fill it up with like sprinkles, brown sugar, chocolate chips, crushed oreos, candy, etc., etc., etc.

*Optional-get some puffy paint and fake sprinkles to decorate your jar or bottle after it’s been glued shut. Otherwise, grab whatever you want to decorate the lid with and make it less boring.

*Oh, yeah and glue 😉

Let’s get started!

By the way, this step by step process will not contain pictures for every step because it’ll just be me typing, “Step 1, pour in your first topping….Step 2, pour in your second topping.” LOL. I won’t do that to you today so let’s just see the finished product and I’ll give you some tips…

I have a few of these three ounce jars in my craft stash that I want to put to good use and this is what I plan to do with every one. Sprinkles and brown sugar are all I have around at the moment but just imagine what you can do with the toppings and candy you choose in the jar or bottle you choose!

You can even gift one to a friend or family member that’s not glued shut and filled with their favorite candy all stacked in a decorative way just before they eat it all ;-).

The biggest tip I have is just make sure each layer is exactly how you want it before moving onto the next. That way you don’t have to worry about pouring that shit out and starting over again. Haha.

Decorate the lid how ever you want but I love the frosting and sprinkles look so that’s where the puffy paints come into play. Make it look like frosting dripping down over the lid. Get your FAKE sprinkles from Amazon or Ebay or Etsy and sprinkle them on top and let it dry.

You can obviously use the fake sprinkles inside the jar as well but that’s no fun, is it? go for the real deal. Real ones will bleed onto the paint, by the way…trust me, I’ve tried it. So fake sprinkles outside and real sprinkles inside, por favor ;-).

So that concludes this quick tutorial of something super fun you can do with your friends and family. Or just do it alone so that everyone around you thinks you’re a badass who is amazingly talented ;-).

You know, maybe I’ll make a bunch to sell and market them as a weight loss tool with the following instructions: “When you’re feeling like you want to reach for that extra cookie or cupcake you don’t need, just stare hard at this jar of sweets while drinking a glass of water. You’re welcome.” Hahaha.

My goofy-ness aside, thank you all for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this one. I know I can’t wait to make more! Bye!….
